2022 Robert Burns Monument Paver Campaign
St. Andrew's Society of Milwaukee launched its 2022 Robert Burn's Statue Paver Campaign. Proceeds raised through paver orders cover the cost of materials and installation as well as the future repair and maintenance of the Robert Burns monument.
Orders are due by Sunday, May 1, 2022. Orders installed by this date will be installed during the Summer of 2022. Orders received after this date will have a TBD installation date.

It's the season to celebrate! We will be having our annual Christmas Party following our December Member's Meeting. We also will be hosting a special SAS New Member's Reception, so we can officially welcome and introduce our new SAS members during the celebration.
Festivities will be held at O'Donoghue's Irish Pub, starting at 7:30pm.
Please note: This will also be the deadline for the Holiday Clothing / Food Drive for The Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin (VOW)’s James A. Peterson Veterans Tiny Home Village.
Please RSVP by Dec. 10th if you plan to attend in person.

Flowers of the Forest: Marshall Lambie, Past SAS Presiden
We are sad to share that Past SAS President, Marshall Lambie, recently passed away on November 7th, 2021. He was president of St. Andrews Society of Milwaukee from 1998 to 1999. We send condolences, prayers and healing thoughts to his family and friends.
There will be a memorial service in his memory on Saturday January 8, 2022, at Becker Ritter Funeral Home. Members of the society are encouraged to attend his memorial service.

The St. Andrew's Society of the City of Milwaukee is resuming our tradition of Bell Ringing in order to raise funds for the Salvation Army on Wednesday, December 22nd, from 8 AM until 8 PM. We ask members to sign up for an hour and a half shift and help honor SAS's mission to "relieve the distressed. We would like at least two people per shift.

2021 Ian Day Education Scholarship Launches Today
Today is launch date of the St. Andrew's of the City of Milwaukee Ian Day Education Scholarship. The Ian Day Education scholarship is open to applicants who reside in Wisconsin and is intended for those pursuing music or education studies in relationship to Scottish culture.
Preference is given to those who are members of SAS or whose spouses, parents or grandparents are members of SAS. Other applicants who are active members in other Wisconsin Scottish organizations including cultural groups, bands and dance groups and/or those with Scottish clan or family affiliation residing in the state of Wisconsin may also apply.
Deadline to apply is Dec. 1, 2021.
SAS September Member's Meeting In-Person at NEW LOCATION!
It's time to Kick-Off the 2021-22 SAS YEAR! Tomorrow, Monday, September 13th @ 7:30 PM, Please note: we will be meeting at a new location, in person at O'Donoghue's Irish Pub, 13225 Watertown Plank Road, Elm Grove.
We meet at 7:30pm on the second Monday of every month from September through May. All members in good standing are welcome to attend

If we are able to have Zoom access for the meeting for those who can't attend, please watch your emails sometime on Monday for more information.

We are very sad to say, our beloved Saint Andrew's of The City of Milwaukee and Clan Donald member, Margaret "Peggy" Ruetz, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021 after years of suffering from Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinsonism. We ask that our members keep Peggy's daughter and her family in your prayers.

SAS Relieve The Distressed Update: Tiny Homes Land Purchase Finalized
St. Andrew's Society of Milwaukee Update: Fri., July 9, 2021 is the ceremony for the finalization of the land purchase for the Tiny Home Village for Veterans in Milwaukee organized by the Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin. SAS is proud that through our Relieve the Distressed fundraising efforts, the funds raised by SAS will help pay for the construction cost of one of these Tiny Homes for Veterans.
