It is with sadness we share that SAS Board Member Pat Condon's mother, Dolores R. Condon, passed Wed., March 30, 2022. Our heart and prayers go to Pat Condon and his family during this most difficult time.

Mrs. Condon's visitation will be Monday, April 4, 2022 from 4:00-7:00pm at Erickson Funeral Home, 801 Milwaukee St., Argyle, WI 53504, followed by the Rosary. Her funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 1:00pm at St. Isidore Parish/St. Joseph Catholic Church, 301 N. Lafayette St., Argyle, WI 53504. The burial will be immediately following the funeral Mass at Calvary Cemetery in Argyle.

Flowers of the Forest: Marshall Lambie, Past SAS Presiden

We are sad to share that Past SAS President, Marshall Lambie, recently passed away on November 7th, 2021. He was president of St. Andrews Society of Milwaukee from 1998 to 1999. We send condolences, prayers and healing thoughts to his family and friends.

There will be a memorial service in his memory on Saturday January 8, 2022, at Becker Ritter Funeral Home. Members of the society are encouraged to attend his memorial service.

Flowers of the Forest: Margaret "Peggy" Ruetz

We are very sad to say, our beloved Saint Andrew's of The City of Milwaukee and Clan Donald member, Margaret "Peggy" Ruetz, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021 after years of suffering from Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinsonism. We ask that our members keep Peggy's daughter and her family in your prayers.

In Memorial: SAS President, Jack Schafer

John “Jack” Schafer

1946 - 2020

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our President, John “Jack” Schafer.

Jack passed the morning of April 1st, at Columbia St. Mary Hospital in Milwaukee surrounded by Kathy, John and Karina.

In recent months, Jack has been battling with kidney disease and was absent from some of our recent events.

Given the current situation with the Covid-19 Pandemic, we will be planning a memorial for Jack in the future. We are asking members and friends of Jack to email their memories and pictures of Jack for use in this event.

Flower of the Forest - Bruce McGarigle

With much sadness we report that long-time member Bruce McGarigle died on September 6, 2016 at the age of 84.

A memorial service will be held for Bruce on Friday, Sept. 16th at Mount Carmel Lutheran Church, 8424 W. Center St., Milwaukee. Visitation will be from 9–11am, with service at 11am. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park, 14875 W. Greenfield Ave., New Berlin, following lunch.

Bruce's wife Karen has asked that as many members as possible come to the service to honor him, kilted of course. We would like to meet at the church at approximately 10:00am.

We are heartbroken to share that past SAS President, Timothy “Tim” Young passed away on April 4, 2016. Tim was active in the local Scottish community and also served as Vice President of Clan Young International, was a proud member of Wisconsin Scottish and a Master Mason.

We've learned that long-standing member Bob Seay has died. Bob served on our Board, organized our Burns Banquets and helped maintain our presence on the golf course as well as in our efforts to relieve the distressed. Our deepest sympathies to Bob's family.
