Does Cask Size Matter?

This time we will be discussing the use of various cask sizes and types in the making of Scotch whisky. From small casks, like octaves and quarter casks, up to the big ones like butts and puncheons, various casks are used for varying reasons. What effect do they have on the spirit, and why do the producers use them? Is there a real effect on the whisky, or is it all marketing? Find out on April 14th!

And of course we'll be answering questions and asking for your input as usual.
